INCREASE YOUR HOPE

The letter of Paul to the Romans gives us a better picture of HOPE.

Our Hope

[Rom 15:13 ESV]

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

[Rom 5:5 ESV]

and hope does not put us to shame (disappoint), because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Abraham’s Hope

[Rom 4:19 ESV]

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb.

[Rom 4:20 ESV]

No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God,

[Rom 4:21 ESV]

fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.

[Rom 4:22 ESV]

That is why his faith was "counted to him as righteousness."
