ARE YOU READY FOR JESUS TO RETURN?

One of the greatest motivations to remain faithful Christians is the reality of seeing Jesus one day. In that great day of the Lord, Jesus Himself will descend with a shout, with the trumpet of God and with the voice of the archangel. What a day of rejoicing that will be! Jesus is coming back to get us, so be faithful weary soldier. Most certainly the fruit of righteousness will be made manifest in that day.

Also, Paul reveals these great truths: "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (I Thessalonians 4:17). Scarcely is there more motivation to obey God in this life than what we see in this verse. Just imagine: together forever, with the Lord Jesus Christ!

To add to the wonder and splendor of the Lord's return, the apostle John tells us more. Not only will the righteous dead be raised to life, but when we see Jesus we will be made like He is: "Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is" (I John 3:2, NKJV). I am not exactly sure what all this entails, but I do know I want to be a part of this blessed resurrection unto life. Would to God that all would seek the Lord and desire to see Him in the last day.

So, are we ready for resurrection day? If you are not, we plead with you to make preparations, before it is everlastingly too late.
